BBQ & Pool Opening 2014
On May 3rd the Developer/HOA Declarant, Mr. Don Hausfeld, held a Homeowner appreciation event outside the Club House and along with the good food we were given the opportunity to meet some of the local Politicians helping mold our areas future. Lots of good BBQ, door prizes, music and fellowship were shared. If you were not there you missed the Fire Truck and Face painting too. No HOA money was expended for this event. Thank you to all those that helped make this a great day in the neighborhood.
July 27, 2013 the Hawaiian Luau Party was well attended but we hope to encourage more to participate at our next event. We thank D.R. Horton, our development builder, who donated funds to supply some food items. Thank you also to Sentry Management for releasing HOA funds to cover additional party costs. Yummy covered dish food was supplied by our attending residents. A shout-out goes to all the HOA Advisory Committee members, their family, and others who helped make the party a success.
December 8, 2012 the neighborhood was invited to share in a Christmas/Holiday event which included food, fellowship, and door prizes. The grand prize, a Beach Bike was well received. Gift cards and other great prizes were distributed for young, and young at heart making the evening a fun time. The party was from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and sponsored by the HOA Advisory Committee. We had fun, hope you did too.
May 5, 2012 Neighborhood Pool Party
The Cinco de Mayo themed party was well attended. Neighbors brought a pot luck themed finger food and the HOA supplied funding, while the Advisory Committee supplied labor, decorations, food, drink, music, and a chance for children to take a swing at the Pinata. Thank you to Brand Mortgage Company for supplying the free dessert. A great time was had by all.
May 21, 2011 Neighborhood Pool Party
This event was organized and produced by the CL Advisory Committee with sponsorship by the HOA, and The Landon Group. The committee worked hard, with limited funds and produced the first official neighborhood wide party. Lessons learned from this event are examined below.
Place: Club House Pool

Advertisements were made through the May CL Newsletter, Club House Bulletin Board, Sentry Management letter dated May 16, 2011 with a one page Flyer added, a community e-mail, and signs at all entrances as well as one on the amenity property put up about 5-6 days before the event. Beach Party and other appropriate music was provided. The Limbo contest was open to all, but only the children would participate. Cooking was performed on site with two personal home grills located near the Pool pump house door area. Beach themed decorations were placed on the upstairs balcony and food serving area. To supplement costs of the event, committee members supplied tables, coolers, tickets, drink dispensers, paper towels, extra food, decorations, ice, and funds to purchase additional supplies to ensure a successful party. Head count for food distributed was approximately 250 Adults & Children.
