Tennis Court Repair
Oct 2015 courts resurfaced, new nets, and new wind screens installed. Note: Courts 5 & 6 have had additional Pickleball court lines added.
All Centennial Lakes tennis teams are part of ALTA Tennis and are beginner (C) levels. Each season will consist of 6-7 regular matches and playoffs.
The Women's and Men's Doubles play in Spring and Fall.
The Mixed Doubles play in Winter and Summer.

CENTENNIAL LAKES TENNIS COURT RULES
NOTE: Courts 5&6 are first come, first serve, and are not to be reserved for Alta events. These are Centennial Lakes Resident preference courts.
The tennis courts are for use by Centennial Lakes Homeowners and Guests. Tennis Courts are to be used for TENNIS ONLY. Courts for ALTA/USTA matches and practices will have priority reservation and should be scheduled as soon as possible. All persons entering the tennis court must wear tennis shoes to prevent undue wear on the court surface. Skateboarding, bike riding, rollerblading, children’s wagons, riding toys, or other wheeled items are prohibited on the courts. No firecrackers, sparklers, or any other type of fireworks are allowed in the tennis court area. Clean-up trash after each court use! Use the trash can for metal lids, ball containers, water and other drink bottles. Climbing over or under the fence is prohibited……Jumping and swinging on the nets and/or fence are prohibited. For safety and security purposes, court gates must be kept closed at all times. Lights are on a timer, so please do not adjust the settings.
For ALTA & USTA teams: the maximum number of teams each season will be in accordance with ALTA/USTA regulations for the number of courts available. All teams should contain over 50 percent homeowners. All team captains must be homeowners. Approval of Non-Resident participation will be allowed only if: The team could not exist without Non-Resident participation.
Match lineups are considered final 2 days before the match. After the lineup is final, your availability cannot be changed except under emergency circumstances. Fees for ALTA/USTA participation will be as follows: Residents: No additional fees. Resident and Non-Resident fees are waived for junior teams. Non-Residents: $15/season or $50/year. Non-Residents are allowed court usage during scheduled practices and matches only. Alternates that play less than 3 games do not have to pay the fee. Teams must clean-up after practices and matches by placing trash in the garbage containers, ensuring the bathrooms are left in good order, and that the door to the bathrooms is locked and secure.
Responsibility: All use of facilities by Members and guests is at the individual’s own risk. Parents are required to familiarize their children with all facility rules and are responsible for their enforcement. Parents are responsible for the actions of their children at all times. Members will be financially responsible for damage to Centennial Lakes’ facilities inflicted by themselves, guests, or children. All Centennial Lakes residents are encouraged to play an active role in maintaining and protecting all athletic facilities and grounds. Please stop and/or report abuses to the Board of Directors, or Cherokee County Police, as appropriate. The Board of Directors reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to amend or modify these rules, with or without notice to members, if necessary to promote safety or to protect our community property.
